ASSESSMENTS AND METRICS
Our assessment and metrics tools help you to clearly identify problem areas, determine how well your organization’s diversity initiative is meeting its goals and expectations, and provide ongoing benchmarking and feedback to managers. The results of this analysis establish organizational readiness for each step of a diversity intervention and are used to create an initial strategic plan or one for the next phase of the change process. We use the data to also identify training needs and the competencies that need to be developed.
> THE ORGANIZATION DIVERSITY AUDIT — Using the hard data already available in most HR information systems, we can audit and analyze your hiring, promotion, termination, compensation and development practices to help you understand your companyís vulnerability to legal action. We then develop strategies to assure equity among all groups of employees. A customized audit can also be developed to analyze other factors of interest.
> FOCUS GROUP INTERVIEWS are used to clarify questions that arise from the audit and attitude surveys, which answer the question of "what." Focus groups answer the "why and how." This allows the organization to develop a very deep understanding of the diversity issues it faces and ensures that the strategic directions are appropriate and actions are meaningful.
> OTHER RESOURCES include analyzing data already collected by the organization; one-on-one interviews; interviews with sanctioned employee resource groups; modified search conferences; "sponging" (unscheduled, spontaneous observation of employees or groups); and ìshadowingî (scheduled observation times) with feedback.
